Sarah is a compassionate clinician who is passionate about helping individuals heal, connect, aspire to their true selves by finding and creating balance with their mind and body. “ I love to empower my clients be part of their process of change as we work together.” One of her specialties is treating trauma, depression, and anxiety through ( EMDR) Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing. EMDR helps clients to use the natural healing mechanisms of the brain to move past: negative thinking, traumatic experiences and depression. She incorporates the mind & body connection into her work with clients by teaching them ways to reduce stress through relaxation, mindfulness and meditation She takes a compassionate but direct approach to helping her clients find solutions to their individual situation. Sarah loves to empower women and has several years’ experience in helping women recover from betrayal trauma, childhood trauma, sexual trauma, addiction and other issues that can leave women feeling trapped and powerless.
Sarah graduated with her Masters in Social work in 2007 from the University of Utah. She is trained in EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Meditation, and Yoga Therapy. She uses Yoga Therapy to assist the individuals that she works with to develop the coping skills to support their emotional and physical well-being. Sarah has over 10 years’ experience in working with women’s issues, children, teens, adults and families.
Sarah is very active and she loves being outside and enjoying the outdoors. She is passionate about Yoga, meditation and nutrition.
