Louise Jorgensen, PhD, LCMHC, PLLC
As a mental health counselor, Dr. Jorgensen believes that within each of us is a perfect blueprint that gives us the capacity to heal the body, mind, and spirit. As such, counseling becomes the path to removing any blocks which may be preventing the client from accessing their own ability to heal and become whole. This healing process may aid clients in finding their greatest potential.
Dr. Jorgensen has completed post-graduate training in Positive Psychology, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Psychopharmacology at the Mind/Body institute of medicine at Harvard University. She has a Doctoral Degree in Counseling from Oregon State University, a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix, and a Bachelor’s Degree from BYU.
Along with her formal education, Louise holds certifications or has training in multiple therapeutic modalities including EMDR, Psych-K, Lifespan Integration, Edu-K, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Dialectic Behavior Therapy, Motivational interviewing, and HLPiThought Pattern Management.
