Joel Smith, LMT
As a structural massage therapist, Joel facilitates relaxation and the unwinding of tension that is often the result of stress and injury. Joel graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy where he completed the professional and master therapist programs. Joel has a deep passion in human anatomy and pathology. As a massage therapist, Joel is skilled in a variety of modalities, including craniosacral therapy, myokinetics (structural bodywork), visceral manipulation, injury massage, reiki (level 2) and hydro-stone therapy. Joel’s love of anatomy and body work has also led him to down the path of teaching body work to students who are pursuing a career in body work.
Joel loves his family and in spending time outdoors. He loves team sports and discovered his efforts rewarded as selected football team captain and MVP in his final 2 years of high school. His team was awarded All-Europe team as linebacker. He also enjoyed wrestling and placed second in All-Europe for DODDS over-seas schools. Joel continues his love for sports with his greatest joy, his son Hayes. Joel’s gentle spirit makes him a friend to all.
